logistic、所謂「物流管理」とはあまり関係のない意味のようです。
さて、政府は２日、感染者が急増している地域では自宅療養を基本とし、入院は重症者や重症化のおそれが強い人などに限るという療養方針見直しを決めました。
この場合、肺炎がある中等症でも自宅療養となるケースが予想され、重症化の見極めなどが課題となりそうです。
ところで、東京は木曜日に5,042件の感染者を発表してます。
専門家は、このままだと、東京では平均で、8月11日に6,129、1週間後に10,909まで増えると予想しています。つまり、東京の住民1,000人に1人が感染することになります。
感染力の強いデルタ株が原因でしょうか。
外出は控え、在宅勤務を行い、衛生管理をしっかり行うしかありません。
また、つまらない夏休みになりそうです。

Logistical (1560s); logistically. Logistics, from this word, in the sense "art of arithmetical calculation" is from 1650s. とあります。ギリシャ語のlogistikosが由来でしょうか？"skilled in calculating"とありますが、物流の意味はなさそうです。
意味
Oxford Learner's Dictionariesによれば、in relation to the organization or movement of large numbers of people, large amounts of equipment, etc. と説明があります。これって、ものすごく日本語にしにくいですね。とあるWeb辞書によれば「事業を行なう上で」とあります。しっくり来ないですが、これ以上の良い訳が見当たりません。

補足
swiftは、言うまでもなありませんが、happening or done quickly and immediately; doing something quicklyの事です。
