中共が最も望まない今後の展開は、五輪開催中にロシアがウクライナへ軍を進ませて、五輪と言う晴れ舞台に影を落とすことでしょう。
なので、習国家主席は、プーチン大統領に五輪開催中にウクライナを侵攻しないよう念押しするのでしょう。
中共の報道官が、全ての国は「五輪開幕の７日前からパラリンピック終了の７日後まで」伝統的な国連五輪休戦決議を順守すべきだと、言ってるくらいですから。
ロシアが、中共のためにロシアの戦略的利益や安全保障を犠牲にすることはありえないとの指摘もあり、米国との安全保障協議で成果が得られなければ、ロシアは中共の要請にもかかわらず、ウクライナを侵攻するだろうとの事です。
という事で、今、ウクライナ侵攻が目前に迫っており、危機的な状況なのです。

意味
Oxford Learner's Dictionariesによれば、antagonize somebodyの形で、 to do something to make somebody angry with you と説明があります。「～に敵意を抱かせる、～を敵に回す、～に敵対する、～の反感を買う」です。目的語は人です。
