しかし、インフラプロジェクトとハイテクを使った警報システムは市町村の災害復興力を増強し、死者や被害がほとんど出ないようになるが、今回のスタディは、(災害の原因となっている)気候変動がそのような対策の真価を問う事になるかもしれないと示唆している。
ゴムボールのように跳ね返るというのが、なぜ回復力や復元力と言う意味になっているのか微妙でしたが、だんだん頭の中で明らかになってきました。硬いものって強い力が加わると壊れてそこで終わりですが、ゴムボールって強い力が加わっても元の状態に戻ります。つまり回復力がある訳です。人も同じですね、だから我々もresilientにならないといけないのです。
