さて、最近、グリーンピースが、日本の 3 大自動車メーカーは、世界の自動車会社の中で気候変動による大きなリスクに直面しているという結果を出してます。

まぁ、日本列島自体が、台風あり、地震ありですからね。

トヨタ、ホンダ、日産は、台風、洪水から高温や水不足に至るまで、今後数年間で大きな課題に直面するだろうと言ってます。

なんだかよくわからない内容ですが、単なる日本の自動車産業たたきの一環でしょうか？

grieve

2022/8/26(Fri)はgrieveです。

今日は"Japanese government steps up efforts to care for women who miscarry"と言う記事からです。

grieveは私には初(多分)ですが、基本的な単語でレベル4、英検2級以上、TOEIC® L&Rスコア470点以上です。

さて、日本で晩婚化が進む中、妊娠中に流産や死産を繰り返すことによる不安や落ち込みについて、地方自治体に相談する人が増えているそうです。

日本では、第1子を出産する母親の平均年齢は、1980年の26.4歳から2021年には30.9歳だったそうです。

年齢とともに流産のリスクが高まり、日本産科婦人科学会によると、2019年の流産率は26～30歳で14～17％、35歳で21％、40歳で33％、45歳で60％でした。

精神的な側面も含め、全面的な支援が必要かと思います。

今日は"China-bound ex-Apple engineer admits to trade secrets theft"と言う記事からです。

pleadは、レベル5、英検2級以上、TOEIC® L&Rスコア600点以上の単語です。

さて、やはりと言うか、アップル社に勤務していた中国人が、技術関連の秘密情報を盗んで中国の会社に横流していたという事です。

この人、 2015 年に 採用され、自動運転車プロジェクトのハードウェア エンジニアとして働いていたそうです。

中国の同業他社に転職するときに、自動運転車の一部の回路基板設計を含む 25 ページの Apple社の 文書を妻のコンピューターにダウンロードしていたとのこと。

これって、氷山の一角なんでしょうね。

韓国も、アップルのスマホをまるパクリしていたんじゃなかったでしたっけ？似たような国ですね。

Oxford Learner's Dictionariesによれば、to state in court that you are guilty or not guilty of a crimeと説明があります。「答弁［抗弁］する」の意味です。plead guiltyで使われます。ちなみにguilty「犯罪的な、罪を犯した」は形容詞ですので、このpleadは自動詞ですね。
なぜ他動詞でなくて、自動詞で形容詞をとるのかよくわかりません。

rescind

2022/8/24(Wed)はrescindです。

今日は"72% of survey respondents blame border controls for not visiting Japan"と言う記事からです。

rescindは復習です。レベル12、英検1級以上の単語です。

さて、先々週に家族と欧州から帰国した私ですが、日本への入国の際は手続きがかなり面倒と言う話をしたと思います。

やはり、既に不満が爆発しているようです。

ある調査によると、72％が現在の入国制限を続ければ、日本を訪れない、またはおそらく訪れないだろうと答えたそうです。

いくらおもてなしが良い国でも、私もそのように思います。

欧州では、既にマスクをしている人なんていない状態なのに、日本入国に当たっては、入国72時間以内にPCR検査陰性報告書を大金を出して取って提出しろとか、スマホに所定のアプリを入れて必要な情報を全部入れろと、しかもこれを日本入国前にやるわけですから大変です。

とっとと止めましょう。

さて、安倍元首相が先月亡くなってから、与党メンバーと旧統一教会との間のつながりが論争を引き起こしています。

岸田首相は自民党への批判を回避するため、内閣の改造を行いましたが、岸田内閣の支持率は前月の52％から36％に低下し、昨年10月の就任以来最低となったようです。

ある調査によると、統一教会と自民党の関係を「何らかの問題がある」と考える人は 87% 、まったく問題ないと答えたのはわずか4%だそうです。

一体、どこまでこの統一教会と言うのは自民党や政治団体に入り込んでいるのでしょうね？

韓国CBSによれば、旧統一教会が全世界にネットワークを維持できているのは、日本の資金が大きな役割を果たしたとみられ、日本の拠点が無くなると旧統一教会を維持することが難しいという危機意識があるのだそうです。だから韓国では信者によるデモが起きています。

dole

2022/8/22(Mon)はdoleです。

今日は"Inflation gnaws at Japanese consumers and companies"と言う記事からです。

さて、（悪い）インフレが秋に向けて加速してます。

日本の消費者物価指数は 7 月に前年比 2.4% 上昇、ここ7 年で最も急激な上昇を示したそうです。

小麦や油などの輸入原材料に依存する食料品の価格上昇率は、6 月に 3.2% を超え、7 月にはさらに 3.7% に上昇ています。

また、日用品価格も急激に上昇しており、ウクライナ危機による燃料不足により、電気やガスなどの公共料金は約 20% 上がっています。

人々のインフレに対する認識はすでに５％に達しているとの事です。

帝国データバンクによると、今年の１月から７月までに倒産した企業は116社で、負債総額は1,000万円以上。これは、同社が調査を開始した2018年以来の最速ペースだそうです。

尚、これらの倒産のうち、33 件は運輸業で、中小規模の企業は、燃料やその他の関連費用の転嫁が困難なため、大きな打撃を受けてます。

一方で、賃金上昇は物価上昇に追いつかず、実質賃金は4月から3カ月連続で低下しています。ますます、家庭の財布の紐を固くせざるを得ないです。

さて、林外相が、岸田首相と中国共産党の習近平国家主席との首脳会談の開催を検討すると金曜日述べたそうです。

日本の首相と習氏の対話は2021年10月の電話協議以降、対面での首脳間の協議は19年12月以降開いていないようです。

国交正常化50年の節目を9月に控え関係の改善を探っているようですが、「マジですか？」と思います。

やはり親中派内閣なんでしょうか？
