さて、相変わらず円安が続いています。
とうとう、政府・日銀は9月22日、急激な円安に歯止めをかけるため、円を買ってドルを売る為替介入に踏み切りました。24年3カ月ぶりの「円買い介入」だったそうです。
そもそも日米の金利差が原因なので、効果はなさそうな気がしますが。
政府・日銀は追加介入も考えているようですが、円買い介入は外貨準備高の範囲でしか実施できないみたいです。その額、約180兆円。
米国債など売却しにくい資産も多く、実際に使える額は限られています。アメリカの景気次第ですが、まだ円安は続き出そうです。

ラテン語のefficacia、それよりもさらに古いefficaceあたりが由来でしょうか？有効性とかの意味があるようですが、effectと似てますね。
