さて、金曜日に採択された2023 年度予算には、エネルギーの節約や国内の食料生産の促進など、国のエネルギーと食料の安全保障を強化するための措置が含まれています。
政府はまた、原子力エネルギーを促進するようです。取り組みの一環として、停止中の原子炉の再起動を促進します。
農水省は、食料安全保障を強化するために 283 億円の予算を確保しています。小麦や大豆の国産化を進め、自給率を高める狙いだそうです。また、肥料と飼料の生産も増やすのだそうです。
防衛費を増やし、原子力エネルギーを促進し、食料自給率を高める。間違っていないと思います。あとは、これらの財源を増税に頼らないでやってください。
今月、固定資産税や車検があって特に思いますが、やはり日本の税金は高すぎます。これじゃ、若い人は家も車も持てませんよ。岸田さんは高校から開成に入り、東大を３回受験する余裕のある家に生まれているのでわからないと思いますが。。菅さんにまた返り咲いてほしいな。

Etymology Dictionaryによれば、from over- + sight. Meaning "an omission of notice, a mistake of inadvertence, fact of passing over without seeing" attested from late 15c.です。どう見ても「見過ごし」の意味だと思いますが。。

Oxford Learner's Dictionariesによれば以下です。相容れない二つの意味がありますね。

The industry ministry secured ¥2.4 billion to ensure fair business conditions for smaller companies in vulnerable positions. Since such firms would not be able to raise wages if they cannot pass on higher raw materials costs to clients, the ministry plans to step up oversight to ensure pricing is carried out appropriately. *1
