中国はロシアのウクライナ侵攻から「注意深く教訓を学んでいる」と警告しました。「今日ヨーロッパで起こっていることは、明日東アジアで起こる可能性がある」としています。
また、ロシアのウラジーミル・プーチン大統領が戦争に勝利した場合、ロシアと北京は力ずくで目標を達成できるというメッセージを送ることになるだろうとも述べています。
「安全保障は地域的なものではなく、グローバルなものである」と主張しており、友人を持つことは「不可欠」であると述べ、NATO のパートナーの中で「日本ほど近く、またはより有能な国はない」と付け加えた。
ストルテンベルグ事務総長は、日本との関係は、サイバースペース、宇宙空間、重要かつ新興技術などの新しい分野やドメインに拡大する予定であることを強調しました。
中共や北朝鮮、ロシアのようなならず者国家を相手にするには、日本も軍事力を強化し、各国と同盟を結ぶしかありません。この意味でGDPの2%を防衛費にあてるのは間違っていないと思います。あとは財源をどうするかです。
