さて、政府は、石油高騰やその他の物価高騰の影響を軽減するために、6.2兆円の支出を行う新たな経済対策をまとめました。

参院選をにらんでの話だと思いますが、ちょっと遅い気がします。

新たな措置として、低所得世帯の子供1人あたり5万円（総額1.3兆円）の配布を行い、さらに1.3兆円を使用して、中小企業向けのローンの金利を引き下げるそうです。

これはこれで良いとして、国民全体が恩恵を受ける消費税や固定資産税などの税金の引き下げをなぜやらないのでしょうか？

今日は"Top Japanese officials and South Korean delegation agree to improve bilateral ties"と言う記事からです。

retractは復習になると思います。レベル11、英検1級以上の単語です。

さて、韓国代表団と日本政府がとうとう会談を行いましたね。

林外相と代表団はその会談の中で、二国間関係を「維持し強化する」、自由、民主主義、市場経済について同じ考えを共有することで合意したそうです。

とにかく、募集工問題、慰安婦問題、レーザ照射問題、半導体材料横流し問題、すべてにおいて韓国に責任があるので、韓国がまともな対応をしてからです。

さて、フランスの大統領選挙ですが、マクロンが極右のライバルであるマリーヌ・ル・ペンに勝ちましたね。

勝ったと言うか、フランス国民が極右勢力からの候補者を選びたくなかっただけかもしれません。

とりあえず、フランス国民は正常な判断ができたものと思います。

このル・ペンと言う人は、プーチンちんともつながっているので、大統領になったとしても、国際舞台ではあまり信頼されないかもしれません。

susceptible

今日は"BOJ chief says monetary easing policy must be kept in place"と言う記事からです。

susceptibleは、レベル9、英検1級以上、TOEIC® L&Rスコア950点以上の単語です。

さて、円安がまだ続いており、輸入品の物価が上昇中ですが、金利政策は今のまま続けるようです。

私も賛成です。今金利を上げたら、景気は落ち込んでしまいますから。

「現時点で若干の円安ですけれども、これがなにか悪い円安ですとか、日本経済にとってマイナスということはないと思います」「今進んだ若干の円安は相互的に見てプラスであることは確実だと思います」という見解のようです。

企業はだいたいグローバル化してるので困らないし、原発を稼働させれば電気代は落ち着くし、円安が悪い悪いと言いふらしているのは誰でしょう。

besiege

2022/4/24(Sun)はbesiege です。

今日は"Japan must lead Asia to the side of law and order"と言うOpinion記事からです。

besiegeは見ない単語です。レベル11、英検1級以上の単語です。

さて、インドはじめ東南アジアの国々って、ロシア側なのか、西側なのか、よくわからんですね。

大声でロシア非難をしているのは、アジアでは日本だけですね。まぁ、アジアで唯一のG7だし、と言うのもあると思いますが。

日本は、中共と朝鮮を除くアジアでは最も信頼されている国ですから、「自由で開かれたインド太平洋」で重要な東南アジアを説得しなければなりません。

日本は落ちこぼれた国であるとか言う評論家もいますが、やはり米欧と考え方を共有しており、肩を並べられるのは日本だけなんです。

円安非難や、コロナ批判などワイドショーで話題になってますが、既得越権の絡んだ人たちや、ろくすっぽ勉強してない人たちの偏った意見なので、見ない方が良いと思います。騙されますよ！

Oxford Learner's Dictionariesによれば、to surround a building, city, etc. with soldiers until the people inside are forced to let you in と説明があります。「（軍が敵地）を包囲（攻撃）する」です。「居座る」からこのような意味に派生したのだと思います。

unravel

2022/4/23(Sat)はunravel です。

今日は"Renault exploring sale of Nissan shares to fund EV shift, sources say"と言う記事からです。

unravelは、レベル10、英検1級以上の単語です。

さて、ルノーが日産自動車の一部株式売却を検討していると言うニュースが入ってきました。

これは、ルノーが電気自動車事業を強化するための資金を確保するのが狙いみたいです。売却額は数十億ユーロ（数千億円）に上る可能性があるようです。

技術の力関係は日産が上で、少し前までは日産の利益をほとんどルノーが配当で奪っていましたよね。現在、日産の株の配当はないですから、ルノーもこのまま配当が出ない株を持っているよりも売っぱらったほうが良いと考えたのでしょうか。

恐らく、もうどこが買うか決まっていると思います。多分、日産が買い戻すのでしょう。

とりあえず、日産のエンジニアは嬉しいのではないでしょうか。

engender

2022/4/22(Fri)はengender です。

今日は"Working from home, Japan’s corporate warriors rethink their priorities"と言う記事からです。

engenderは、レベル11、英検1級以上の単語だそうです。

さて、最近は私の周りでも、若手が会社を去っていくことが多くなってきました。これって、世の中の一般的な流れのようです。

若年の会社員のうち、3年以内に大手企業を辞める割合は8年前の20.5％から26.5％に上昇してるようです。大手企業でこれですから、会社全体では結構な割合なんでしょう。

一生同じ会社で働き続けると言うのは、今後日本でも無くなって行く気がします。

私のような定年前の者でさえも、会社の目標よりも自分の目標、家族の目標を優先にしているので、考え方が柔軟な若者はもっとその傾向が強いと思います。

有名企業も、下手すると人が集まらなくなってくると思います。ましてや、出社を強いている会社なんてだれも来ないでしょう。
