さて、韓国代表団と日本政府がとうとう会談を行いましたね。
林外相と代表団はその会談の中で、二国間関係を「維持し強化する」、自由、民主主義、市場経済について同じ考えを共有することで合意したそうです。
とにかく、募集工問題、慰安婦問題、レーザ照射問題、半導体材料横流し問題、すべてにおいて韓国に責任があるので、韓国がまともな対応をしてからです。

Etymology Dictionaryによれば、early 15c., retracten, "to draw (something) back, draw in, absorb," from Old French retracter (14c.) and directly from Latin retractus, past participle of retrahere "to draw back" とあります。古フランス語のretracter、ラテン語のretrahere「退く、取り下げる」の過去分詞のretractusが語源のようです。re-「後ろに」＋trahere「引っ張る」に分けられます。
意味
Oxford Learner's Dictionariesによれば、to say that something you have said earlier is not true or correct or that you did not mean itと説明があります。「（前言など）を撤回する、取り消す」です。まさに韓国にピッタリの単語です。
