さて、物議を醸している外国人技能実習制度を検討している法務省の委員会は、現在の制度を廃止し、日本の労働力不足を克服するために労働者としてのインターンを認める新しい制度を設立する草案を発表しました。
この委員会は11 月に設置され、15 人の学者、政府関係者、弁護士で構成されます。この中で、30 年の歴史を持つプログラムの問題点とその修正方法について話し合っています。
現在はその目的から離れて、インターンの人たちは、単なる安価な労働者として使われています。これじゃ、来た人もたまったもんじゃないです。そりゃ、ひどい労働環境から逃げ出す人もいるでしょう。インターンを受け入れているのは、本当に日本生まれの日本人なのでしょうか？
制度の見直しにより、日本が多様性とエネルギーに満ちたダイバーシティ社会を作る方向に進み、すべての人の人権が守られることを願います。

Etymology Dictionaryによれば、from Old French esploit "a carrying out; achievement, result; gain, advantage", a very common word, used in senses of "action, deed, profit, achievement," from Latin explicitum "a thing settled, ended, or displayed," noun use of neuter of explicitus, past participle of explicare "unfold, unroll, disentangle," from ex "out" (see ex-) + plicare "to fold"です。
古フランス語のesploit「実行; 達成、結果; 獲得、利点」 、ラテン語のexplicitum「解決する、終了する、または表示されるもの」、ラテン語のexplicare「折り畳む」の過去分詞であるexplicitus中性名詞、このあたりが由来のようです。
